And know that although the Yesod has these two aspects, as I explained — and they are Yosef the Righteous above, and Binyamin the Righteous below, within the upper female, as it is written: 'as her soul departed, for she died' — still, there is in the Yesod itself, above these two aspects, an additional life; and therefore it is called the Life of the Worlds, in the secret of nine from below upward and nine from above downward, which add up to Chai. And Chai is in two worlds, for it is also alive in the world of the female, in the secret of Binyamin the Righteous; and this is what is written: 'Chai, Chai, they shall praise You,' as we have written.
