- Therefore our intention on the Sabbath day is to raise the worlds to their true place, as at first, and not to bring them down below, outside the Shabbat boundary. And this is the secret of "I have washed my feet; how shall I soil them?" And therefore one must not go out on the Sabbath beyond the boundary, for he goes out to the place of the Klipot — to the place where Assiya now stands during the weekdays, after the sin of Adam. And as is explained by us in the Mishnah of "the amputee goes out with his wooden leg" (ha-Kite'a yotze be-kav shelo), and also in the Tikkunim, above, page 107, side A.
