This is the secret of the above, "the woman ascends with her husband and does not descend with him." For when the Yesod rose atop the Tifferet to clothe it, she rose with it, as mentioned; and now that the Yesod has descended below to its place, she did not descend with it, but remained cleaving above, behind the Tifferet. Yet her first root, which she left in the Atara [crown] in him, never moved or was uprooted from there. I need not remind you of this premise in every place; it has already been clarified above.
