Indeed, the matter of the two Hotamot [seals]: they are the discernments of Yesod and Malchut found in the Nukva [female]. For the five Gevurot, which are wine, are kept within the Yesod, which is called a Hotam [seal]; and atop the Yesod there is a second Hotam, which is the Malchut. And by means of these two seals the Hitzonim [the outer ones] have no dominion to suck from that inner wine.
