But here, in Bina, which is the drop of female waters rising from below upward, it is the reverse — for the four middle and lower [names of] Ehyeh are included in the two supernal [names of] Ehyeh of the Yuds, which likewise equal 42.

1Male waters descending from above downward, therefore the two supernal Yud-Hey-Vav descended and were included in the lower Yud-Hey-Vav: For the three Yud-Hey-Vav are: the first is AB, the second is MA, the third is the name BON, as above in the words of the ARI. And behold, when Mocha Stimaa couples upon the MAN [Mayin Nukvin] of AVI who ascended to the throat, which is the secret of the two Ehyeh, as above — a complete level of HB and TM, which are AB, SAG, MA and BON, goes out upon the MAN. Except that SAG is not counted, as above, and there are only three discernments here: AB, MA, BON. And when this level descends to the throat from above downward, all three Yud-Hey-Vav come in the Yesod of Mocha Stimaa, which is the Yud-Hey-Vav of BON, which is the palate, as above in the words of the ARI.
2Female waters rising from below upward is the reverse, for the four middle and lower Ehyeh are included in the two supernal Ehyeh of the Yuds: For the three Ehyeh, too, are from the discernment of AB, MA, BON, which are the whole level of Aba and Ima, from the throat of Arich Anpin to the Chazeh, as the ARI writes. And since the Chazeh of AA rose to the place of the throat, it raised the whole level of AVI to the throat, where the two supernal Ehyeh of the Yuds are — which is the secret of the inclusion of ‘three within three,’ called the ascent of MAN [Mayin Nukvin], in which, in the first Ibur, the three of NHY are included in the three of HGT, and in the second Ibur, for Gadlut, the three of HGT are also included in the three of HBD. And this ascent is called by the name ascent of MAN, or inclusion in the coupling of the upper, or Ibur, as is known. And this is what it says, ‘the MAN rising from below upward, etc.,’ are all included in the two supernal Ehyeh.
