The first interpretation is this: that all the aspects of the ten Sefirot of Katnut are divided into three, namely: pregnancy (Ibur), nursing (Yenika), and Mochin. These are the three lower ones of Elokim, the three middle ones, and the three upper ones. And all this is called externality. And afterward, in all the aspects of Gadlut there are pregnancy, nursing, and Mochin, which are: the three lower ones of Havayot, the three middle ones, and the three upper ones. And all this is called internality.

1Ibur, nursing, and Mochin, which are the three lower ones of Elokim, and three middle ones, and three first ones — and all this is called externality; and afterward, every discernment of Gadlut has within it IYM, which are the three lower ones of Havayot, and so on — and all this is called internality: Meaning, that the IYM [Ibur, nursing, and Mochin] of externality are drawn from the externality of the worlds, namely: from the first division of Nekudim are drawn the three lower ones of Elokim, which are the first Ibur, and likewise the Nefesh-Ruach of nursing that is drawn over the two years of nursing. And from the second division of Nekudim are drawn the Mochin of nursing, which are the Lamed, Mem of the Tzelem [image] of nursing, together with the VAK of Gadlut of Ima, which come in the second Ibur after the two years of nursing, over the course of seven years until nine years and one day. And these IYM are regarded as externality, by virtue of being drawn from the first and second division of the Nekudim, which are the discernment of the worlds themselves, as above, in the adjacent item.
And afterward there is the second Ibur, for the sake of the true GAR, which comes after nine years and one day, when ZA raises MAN from the posterior of the Vav and a dot of AVI, which had fallen to his place at the time of the breaking of the vessels — these MAN return AVI to face to face — and upon these MAN the ten Sefirot of Gadlut come out, whose three lower ones are also the names of Havayot, and this is called the Ibur of Gadlut; and their three middle ones are called the nursing of Gadlut; and their GAR are called the Mochin of Gadlut. And all of these are called internality, even their three lower ones, because they are drawn only through MAN from below upward, in the arousal of the lower ones, as above, in the adjacent item.
