And with this you will understand the matter of the two hairs, which one must bring after thirteen years and one day. And it is as was stated above, concerning the ascent of ZON in the secret of MAN to AVI, that then he encounters the NHY of AVI, from which the Mochin are made for him, as will be stated, with God's help. And since he has already ascended to the Yesod of AVI, therefore there also begins in ZA the aspect of the lower beard, at the place of the completion of the Yesod of ZA himself; and they are the aspect of the two hairs mentioned in the words of our sages. But the upper beard of ZA does not begin until he is a son of twenty years, as will be stated below, with God's help.

And therefore the hairs of the Partzuf of the Ibur, which are the hairs of the Yesod, do not come except after the Mochin of Gadlut [greatness/adulthood] have been completed for him, that is, after thirteen years. So that in Ibur and in nursing he has only the upper vessels of the hairs, that is, the hairs of the head alone, which are the discernment of GE of the hairs, as above in Part 13; and the discernment of the AHP of the hairs does not come except in Gadlut. For in the discernment of the Mochin of the Tzadi of Tzelem [image] of Gadlut, which are after thirteen years, he attains the discernment of the hairs of the Ibur, which are the hairs of the Yesod, called the lower beard, which is likewise the discernment of the Tzadi. And after this, when he attains the LM [Lamed-Mem] of Gadlut, which is in the course of twenty years, as is written further on, then he attains also the upper Dikna [beard] of the head, which is the discernment of the AHP of the hairs of Gadlut.
