Hence, it is necessarily true that as long as Malchut has not yet grown, those upper ten Sefirot that are lacking from the Nukva must be included in ZA, in his ten Sefirot, as is known — that he has only until the Yesod, and the Nukva completes him to ten. And then they are nineteen Sefirot: his nine and her ten; and she is called the tenth, since she is the tenth to him; and he is completed in ten Sefirot together with her, and she too has ten Sefirot.

1It is necessary that as long as Malchut has not yet grown, those nine Sefirot that are lacking to the Nukva must be included in ZA, in the nine Sefirot that are in him. As is written in the adjacent item, that ZA, at the time of his Ibur [impregnation] of Gadlut, receives also the level of the Nukva in deposit; and it is reckoned that she is included in the Nukva that is in the Guf [body] of ZA, which is the discernment of the BON in him, which is the discernment of the screens upon which the levels of NRNHY of ZA himself were measured, in his IYM [Ibur, nursing, and Mochin]. For this is the rule, that there is no absence in spirituality, and therefore all the discernment of the screens of his own Katnut remain in the Partzuf even at the time of his Gadlut; and therefore, when he measures the Mochin for the lower one, he measures for him upon the screens that are in himself, from all the degrees that passed over him, from the limit of his Katnut until the completion of his Gadlut.
And this is what he says, “it is necessary that as long as Malchut has not grown, those upper nine Sefirot that are lacking from the Nukva must be included in ZA, in the nine Sefirot that are in him, etc., for in each and every Sefira of the nine Sefirot of ZA there is in it the discernment of one Sefira of the Nukva, which is her Sefira of Malchut.” That is, as explained, that that level of the Nukva which he took in deposit from the upper Ima at the time of his Ibur is included in the Nukva that is in the Guf of ZA, namely in the Malchuts that are in his own nine Sefirot, which are the BON in him — whereby in the discernment of the Ibur he measures for the separated Nukva upon the discernment of the Malchut of Nefesh of his own, and in the discernment of the nursing he measures for her upon the Malchut of Ruach of his own, and so on, until he returns to her all her level that he received on her behalf. Thus in each and every Sefira of ZA there is in it the discernment of a Sefira of the Nukva, namely on the BON side of the Sefira, which is called the Nukva that is in his Guf. And remember this.
