These 315 sparks of ZA are the phase of what was clarified from those seven kings, by the secret of the aforementioned clarification, through Aba and Ima. Then Aba brought down a drop of male waters called Hesed, comprised of the five Hassadim. And Ima too brought down a drop of female waters comprising the five Gevurot. And through these drops the 315 sparks of ZA were clarified and corrected, and so likewise with the 315 sparks of the Nukva.

1Through these drops the 315 sparks of ZA were clarified and corrected: Now the aforementioned clarification, which the ARI explained in the secret of the thirty-two paths of wisdom, pertains to the powers of Hochma, for Aba is the first actor in this, since the essence of the whole restriction relates only to the light of Hochma, as is known. And this is the secret of “everything is clarified in thought” — for the upper thought, which is the secret of Hochma, is what divides every discernment into the 320 sparks included in it, and it is what separates the last discernment from every single path; and after its clarifications, these become, in the secret of the thirty-two Elohim in the account of Creation, since they are all in the secret of Elohim. And when they are drawn from Hochma to Bina, there come to be, in her, the fifty gates of Bina, for they are included there in the secret of the five Gevurot within her, each one of which is included of ten, making fifty gates; and every single discernment corresponds to a particular gate of the fifty gates, as the ARI writes (in Peri Etz Chaim, in the blessing of the counting of the Omer). Study it there well. Now this gate, in which ZON are formed, has that same numerical combination of seven times Adam, which totals 315 in gematria; for ZON are the secret of HaVaYaH in the filling of Alfin, whose gematria is 45 and also matches the gematria of Adam; hence the formation of their clarification is through seven times 45, which totals 315, in the secret of Alfin.
