Now the hairs of the head of Arich Anpin cover the remaining corrections of Atik, which are its Hesed, Gevura, and Tifferet, and hide them. But the forehead, the eyes, and the nose of Arich Anpin, which are the Netzah, Hod, Yesod, and Malchut of Atik, have no covering or garment over them. Therefore these nine locks were drawn, whose root is also from the Netzah and Hod of Atik itself, and they cover them; and then the light of Atik is not greatly revealed below in Arich Anpin, because all these locks are of the aspect of Yods, as above. Therefore their property is to hide and cover the light.
