And the matter is that although all the hairs are judgments and clarifications of the kings, nevertheless, since they are in a high place, in Arich Anpin, the judgment within them is not revealed. Therefore all the hairs of Arich Anpin are white, and not red or black. However, nevertheless, there is a difference between the hairs of the head and the hairs of the beard, because the hairs of the head are softer, and they are more [like] judgments that are subdued; and from the excess and the dross left from their clarification, there are hard judgments. But from the excess of the clarifications of the hairs of the beard, dross and shells (Kelipot) emerged that are complete, real ones. Therefore they are harder, and not softer.
