First, one must know that the lower ones cannot receive the light of these lights, unless after the correction in which they were corrected in the aspect of a Partzuf, as above, and as I explained at length, for at first their light was bad and great, and the lower ones have no power to bear it; and when they were corrected, which is in the aspect of a complete Partzuf, when the light is then drawn through screens and clothing within garments, the light was then somewhat coarsened, and also diminished, and went out and was drawn through apertures, pipes, thin windows, and very thin hairs, in the secret of the Partzuf. For through these two things — the coarsening of the light, and also its diminution — then the lower ones had the power to receive the upper light. And thus is explained to you what the matter of the correction mentioned in the two Idrot is.
