And we shall first explain the aspect of the essence in these three heads, which is the spirituality within each one of them, and each one of them divides into three discernments, so that there are three discernments, each of them three by three, and among them all they are nine discernments of essence; and corresponding to them nine other discernments in the secret of their vessels, and among them all they are eighteen discernments.
