And behold, before he sinned, all these six thousand levels of souls were included within him. And when Adam HaRishon sinned, he was diminished and stood at a hundred cubits, by the secret of "You have set Your hand upon me," as our sages said. And these hundred cubits are themselves what our rabbis said elsewhere — that he was the Challah of the world. For behold, the measure of the average challah is one in fifty, like the measure of the Terumah, which is two in a hundred (Tarei mi-Mea).
