Explanation: when the Shechina was banished and descended below, to be "a head of foxes" (rosh le-shu'alim) — being in these three worlds called BYA — behold, the inner garment, which is the inner ten Sefirot of the Nukva of ZA of Atzilut, descended and entered and was clothed within the ten Sefirot of Beria, and it became a Neshama to them, to the ten Sefirot of the Nukva of Beria. And her middle ten Sefirot descended and were clothed within the ten Sefirot of the Nukva of ZA of Yetzira. And the outer garment, which is her ten posterior Sefirot, descended and was clothed within the ten Sefirot of the Nukva of Assiya, and became a Neshama to them. And afterward there are the aspects of spirits (Ruchin) and souls (Nefashin), as will be stated, with God's help.

1The Shechina and descended below to be “a head of foxes,” being in the three worlds called BYA, behold, the garment etc.: For when it was said to her, “Go and diminish yourself,” ZON were in the discernment of the two great lights, at an equal level, back to back; and the moon complained, in the secret of “two kings cannot use one Keter,” and it was said to her, “Go and diminish yourself,” and she returned to the discernment of a point beneath the Yesod, which from the discernment of the vessels is the point of the Chazeh [chest] and her vessel of Keter; and all her nine lower ones, that is, the whole Partzuf of the posterior, which was at an equal level with ZA, descended entirely except for its Keter, and clothed in the three worlds BYA, as the ARI writes here, that the internal Partzuf in it clothed in Beria, and the middle Partzuf in it clothed in Yetzira, and the external Partzuf in it clothed in Assiya. And although as a whole it is no more than a single Partzuf, called the Partzuf of the posterior of the Nukva, nevertheless there is in it Ibur [impregnation], nursing, Mochin; for Ibur and nursing are the VAK [six ends], Ruach and Nefesh, and the Mochin of the posterior are their GAR [first three], called the GAR of Ruach, or the Mochin of VAK; and because even the GAR are only Mochin of VAK, it is therefore called, as a whole, the Partzuf of the posterior.
And at first glance one can raise a difficulty here from what the ARI wrote in several places, that only the point of Malchut descended to Beria and became there Atik of Beria, while here he wrote that all her nine lower ones descended to BYA. The matter is that there were two diminutions there at the time of the diminution of the moon: the first is to her nine lower ones, which are all three Partzufim — Ibur, nursing and Mochin — that descended to BYA, as above. And the second is that even the point of Keter that remained in her, in the secret of a point beneath the Yesod of ZA of Atzilut — behold, it too did not retain the strength to be entirely in Atzilut, and the discernment of the posterior in that point descended and became Atik for Beria.
And know that the light of Haya cannot pass through the Parsa that is beneath Atzilut to illuminate in Beria; and therefore every discernment of the light of Haya that exists in the Partzufim of BYA is from these three Partzufim of the posterior of the Nukva that clothed in BYA; and although they are the discernment of Haya, nevertheless since they are only the posterior of Haya, which is the secret of “a light that does not shine,” they can therefore clothe in the Partzufim of BYA. And the discernment of the light of Yechida of the Partzufim of BYA they receive from the discernment of the point of Keter of the Nukva that was diminished and descended to be Atik for BYA.
