But the discernment of GAR and Mochin, the Nukva must receive not by means of ZA, but only from the coupling of AVI. And so it is in all the Partzufim: that the vessel and Rucha suffice for them to influence the Mochin of Katnut, in the secret of the coupling that is only to give life; but for the Mochin, the vessel and Rucha do not suffice for them, and they need the raising of MAN and the coupling of the AVI of the one above them (see Etz Chaim, Gate 29, Chapter 2).
