This is what is said in the Idra of Ha'azinu: "The forehead that is revealed in the Ancient Holy One is called Ratzon [Will], for this supernal head is concealed above and is not known; it extends one pleasant path in sweet fragrance, which is included within the forehead..., and that head... and there is imprinted here one light that is called Ratzon..." Thus it is explicitly explained that in Atik Yomin, the Yesod within it — called "one pleasant path" — is clothed, in the secret of "And Joseph was beautiful of form," in sweet fragrance, because it gives the Hassadim within it to the Nukva, to sweeten the Gevurot and to temper them. And this Yesod is clothed and included within the forehead of the Atik, which is Arich Anpin.
