For in Sha’ar HaHakdamot [Gate of the Introductions] he brings that same discourse, and there it is written that the first discernment is revealed, and it does not say the first point. See there. And the explanation is: that there is also here the discernment of the NHY of Atik, as the ARI wrote in Etz Chaim, Gate 42, Chapter 13, and these are his words: For the feet of Atik shine through the feet of AA, etc., until the feet of ZON shine and pass through this screen to Beria. End of quote. Thus it is explicit that there is also here the NHY of Atik. And as is written in the adjacent item, that the TNHY of AA were divided into three discernments for the purpose of BYA, so too the NHY of Atik were divided into three discernments for the purpose of BYA.
