And it follows that the Mochin that came from midnight onward do not depart until after the day is clear; for at the time of the dawn the Mochin have not yet departed. Therefore, when one recites the Shema of the morning before sunrise, there is not so much effort to return the Mochin, for barely a small moment has passed since they departed; therefore it is easy to return them. And this is the reason that the Vatikin would finish it before sunrise, and by means of this they did not need to read the Shema twice in the morning prayer.
