Understand this — what is the matter of the clothing of the soul, which is made of that Ruach [spirit] that he casts into her. It, too, is from the Hesed, in the secret of Eloha, except that it is from the RIU [216]. And perhaps this is why Eloha is MB [42], which is likewise Gevura. See the Zohar, Mishpatim.

And this is what he said: that the clothing of the soul, which comes from that Ruach that the husband casts into her, is from the Hesed, in the secret of Eloha, and it is from Gevura because it is from the RIU — for the lights are the expansion of the Mochin of Gadlut, which are Hassadim and males; yet since they are attributed to and expand within the posterior vessels, Bina and ZON, they are therefore discerned as Gevurot — but as the discernment of the Gevurot within the Hassadim.
