And let us explain the secret of Assiyah. For since another screen was added in it, from Malchut of Yetzirah, therefore the lights were diminished, for its AA is also three within three, as it was in Yetzirah. And the reason is that since it is the aspect of the middle line — for Keter is the aspect of the middle line — and it necessarily takes the two lines, right and left, therefore AA never has in it less than three within three. But Aba, which does not have this reason, was therefore diminished and became a point — a world of less than three within three.
